To the ambassador of Cuba in the Netherlands.

Dear mrs. Dominguez Cortina,

Within a few days the Dutch publishinghouse Bruna will launch the thriller "Cuba Libre", written by the Dutch novelist and art-expert Michel van Rijn. It's a mix of of fiction and facts. Throughout this new book president RaĆ¹l Castro is described as a notorious homo- and pedofile as well as a person luxuriating in his power, having people killed at random. According to the author these revelations are based on facts and common knowledge in Cuba.
His reaction was positive as well on our questions about the "statue-affair" mentioned in his book. Mr. Ben van Dam (former agent of Damen's Shipyard in Havana) is alleged to have made a hundred statues of your president, meant to be placed all over the country to contribute to his greatness. Shortly after completing this order Mr. van Dam was killed in a plane crash while on his way to Santiago de Cuba last year.
On behalf of an article on our website www.stelling.nl we would appreciate an official Cuban comment and being informed which measures your government is eventually planning against this publication.

Thanking you in advance,
Krgrds
