Robbie van de Rhee mag dan in de bajes zitten, hij laat ons niet los. Vooral niet omdat wij onlangs stuitten op een project, dat aanzienlijk groter was dan we van Robbie gewend waren. Daarbij stond hij in contact met ene Janko F. Rottmann. Naar eigen zeggen het baasje van Royal Investment Consortium. Een internationaal investeringsfonds met pleisterplaatsen in het Midden-Oosten, Rusland, Angola, Belize, Panama, Brazilië en nog wat van dat soort buitengewesten. Wat is er eenvoudiger dan vriend Rottmann eens te verrassen met een eenvoudig mailtje? Niks eigenlijk. Dus hier komt ie:

“Dear mr. Rottmann,
A few weeks ago the Dutch businessman Robert van de Rhee has been arrested in Marbella by the Spanish police. On request of the Dutch authorities. Van de Rhee is accused of several criminal offences, all connected with financial manipulations.
We found out that your Royal Investment Consortium had some business relationship with mr. Van de Rhee through the Delaware established State Pension Fund.
Purpose was among others the financing of a karting circuit in Malaga, 2 gambling arcades in the Molensteeg/Oude Achterzijdsburgwal in Amsterdam (included the licenses and premises), the Stadion Plein Hotel in Amsterdam and the restaurant Paardenburg in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel in the Netherlands.
Since we paid a lot of attention to the activities of mr. Van de Rhee in the last decade we are very curious what came out of your mutual initiative”.

Dat kan nog heel gezellig worden. Met name die gokholen op Molensteeg 1 hebben een uiterst interessante historie. En om die ineens verbonden te zien met onze bloedeigen Robbie is een surprise uit de buitencategorie. Gaan we eens even echt voor zitten. Stay tuned.
